Russia Post released a stamp depicting an image of a player throwing out a Kolodets (Well) configuration on 18th August 2023.
The Gorodki sport is the world’s only all-Russian folk individual and team all-season game sport. The essence consists in the alternate knocking out beyond the perimeter of the “city” (a marked area) of wooden pins (“villages”) arranged in preset configurations with a gorodki bat (a throwing sports implement) according to certain rules.
