Alexander Menshikov (1673-1729) was a Russian statesman and military figure, a duke (1702), a Prince of the Holy Roman Empire (1705), His Serene Highness the Prince of Izhora (1707).

Russia Post released a set of 2 stamps on the bridge over the Moscow Canal in the Moscow Region and the Composer Rachmaninoff Bridge in the Novgorod Region on 13th October 2023.
The bridge over the Moscow Canal makes part of the start-up complex of the Central Ring Motorway-3, the longest section of the Ring Motorway, running parallel to the Small Ring Road A-107 and connecting the new expressway M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg and motorway M-7 Volga. The bridge is 1,410.15 m long and covers an area of 38,497 m².
