Preobrazhensky Regiment

Russia Post released a set of 4 stamps on the Preobrazhensky Life Guards Regiment which is the oldest and one of the most elite guards regiments of the Russian Imperial Army on 20th December 2023.

Stamps depict a grenadier and a fusilier, a staff officer and a private, an adjutant and a private of the Preobrazhensky Life Guards Regiment and a banner group of the 154th Independent Commandant’s Preobrazhensky Regiment.

Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

Russian Post released a stamp on 18th December 2023 on the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) with  images of a reindeer herder in a sledge pulled by reindeer, the Ulakhan-Sis mountain range with granite pillars, and a sculptural composition in the form of mammoth tusks with the inscription Verkhoyansk is the Cold Pole.

The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is the largest constituent region in the composition of the Russian Federation and the largest administrative division in the world. It is also one of the most inclement places in the world in terms of climate: it hosts the cold pole of the Northern Hemisphere.

Volleyball

Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation

Russia Post released a souvenir sheet to celebrate 30th Anniversary of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on 13th December 2024 depicting images of the badges of a senator of the Russian Federation and a deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

On December 12, 1993, the Constitution of the Russian Federation was adopted by popular vote. According to Chapter 5, the Federal Assembly, the modern Russian Parliament, is the representative and legislative body of the country. It consists of two chambers: the Federation Council and the State Duma.

Russia Post released a set of 4 stamps on the Professions of staffers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on 12th December 2023 which show several areas of rescuer activities like air rescue service, state inspection for small vessels, canine service and fire rescue service.The MES of Russia is a federal executive authority responsible for management, coordination, control and response in the field of civil defense, protection of population and territories from emergencies, ensuring fire safety and water safety of people.

Russia Post released a stamp Vladimir Zhirinovsky on 8th December 2023 depicting his portrait and an image of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland. He was the founder and the leader of the political Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR).

Buildings of diplomatic missions of the Russian Foreign Ministry

Russia Post rleased a set of 4 stamps on Buildings of diplomatic missions of the Russian Foreign Ministry on 30th November 2023.

The postage stamps feature the House of Receptions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Residence of the Russian Ambassador to France, the Russian Embassy in Austria and the Russian Embassy in China.

Artworks of classics of the Stroganov school

Russia Post released a set of 4 stamps On the 200th Anniversary of the Stroganov Russian State Academy of Arts and Industry depicting  Artworks of classics of the Stroganov School on 29th November 2023.

The postage stamps provide portraits of architect Lev Kekushev against A. Ermakov's wooden dacha and outbuilding in Mamontovka (1900s), sculptor N. Andreev against the monument to Nikolai Gogol in Moscow (1909),  artist N. Globa against his painting The Landscape (ca. 1931) and artist Z. Bykov against the draft cover for the Dobrolet booklet (1923).

The Catherine Hall

Russia Post released a stamp depicting an image of the Catherine Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace on 29th November 2023.

The Catherine Hall is one of the six staterooms of the Grand Kremlin Palace. At the time of its creation, it was the throne room for Russian Empresses. It was named after the Order of Saint Catherine instituted by Peter I in 1713.

Kherson Region

Russia Post released a stamp on 28th November 2023 depicting Kherson Region with an image of the Askania Nova Reserve, a monument to Grigory Potemkin, and watermelons that are cultivated in the fields of the Kherson Region.

The Kherson Region is a region of the Russian Federation, located in the south-west of the country on the left bank of the lower reaches of the Dnieper River. It is located on the shores of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. The temporary administrative capital of the Kherson Region is the city of Genichesk.

Alexander Menshikov

Russia Post released a stamp to celebrate 350th Birth Anniversary of A. Menshikov (1673–1729),  depicting his portrait against the background of the Menshikov Palace (State Hermitage Museum) in St. Petersburg. Alexander Menshikov (1673-1729) was a Russian statesman and military figure, a duke (1702), a Prince of the Holy Roman Empire (1705), His Serene Highness the Prince of Izhora (1707).

Russian peacekeepers in UN operations

Russia Post released to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of participation of Russian peacekeepers in UN operations on 30th November 2023 depicting an image of a UN military observer on the back of the Flag of the Russian Federation, and a United Nations Medal.

District Police Officers.

Russia Post released a stamp on 17th November 2023 to celebrate 100th Anniversary of the service of district police officers depicting an image of a community policeman and a young family in a city scape.

Sambo

Russia Post released a stamp on Sambo depicting an image of mat wrestlers during a fight. Sambo (an acronym of self-defense without weapons) is an international type of sports and applied martial arts developed in Russia in the 1920s-1930s on the basis of judo and jiu-jitsu wrestling under the leadership of Vasily Oshchepkov, Victor Spiridonov and Anatoly Kharlampiev.

Holy Dormition Pskov-Pechersk Monastery

Russia Post released a souvenir sheet with a general view of the Holy Dormition Pskov-Pechersk Monastery on 15th November 2023 to celebrate it's 550th Anniversary.

The Holy Dormition Pskovo-Pechersky Monastery is one of the largest and best-known male monasteries in Russia with a centuries-old history.It originated in caves on the bank of the Kamenets brook, discovered by local people in 1392. According to a legend, the caves were inhabited by monks who ran away to the Pskov Land from the south from Crimean Tatar raids.

Scientific mission of Luna-25

Russia Post released a stamp depicting an image of automatic interplanetary station Luna-25 on a mission to the Moon on 14th November 2023.

Luna-25 is a part of the Russian lunar program, the first Russian lunar mission on-going at the Lavochkin Association, JSC, for the exploration and practical use of the Moon and near-lunar space by automatic interplanetary stations.

Maritime Fleet of Russia

Russia Post released a set of 3 stamps on the Maritime Fleet of Russia on 10th November 2023 depicting images of nuclear submarines of Projects Borey-A, Yasen-M, and a diesel-electric submarine of Project 677 Lada.
