People's militia of 1941

Russia Post issued a stamp on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 - People's militia of 1941 on 15th December 2021 with images of militiamen from different layer of society against the Red Square in Moscow.

The people's volunteer army during the Great Patriotic War consisted of military and paramilitary units of persons unliable to the time-urgent mobilization call-up; these units were intended to provide support to the Red Army.The postage stamp provides.

Painters - Moscow

 Russia Post issued a miniature sheet on the Painters of Moscow on 14th December 2021.

Moscow is the capital of Russia, the largest city in the country in terms of population, a hero city. With its historic buildings, streets and monuments, the city used to attract and is still attracting famous artists from around the world, who picture the city in all its beauty in their paintings.

The postage stamps provide reproductions of the following pictures:

National Ice Hockey

Russia Post released a stamp to celebrate 75 years of national ice hockey on 10th December 2021 depicting images of outstanding hockey players Anatoly Firsov, Valery Kharlamov and Valery Vasiliev.

Republic of Dagestan

Russia Post released a miniature sheet to celebrate 100 years of the Republic of Dagestan on 10th December 2021.

The postage stamp bears the inscription “100 years. The Republic of Dagestan". On the sheet there is the coat of arms of the Republic of Dagestan, a national ornament, citadel of Naryn-Kala in Derbent, defensive tower in Itzari, Uytash airport arch, the central Juma Mosque and the Kumyk Theater named after A.P. Salavatov in Makhachkala, Avar Music and Drama Theater named after Gamzat Tsadasa, and the monument "Partu Patima" in the village of Kumukh, Laksky district; Khitsib complex-museum "Vatan", Chirkeyskaya HPP.

 

New Year stamp - 2021.

Russia Post issued a round shaped stamp of a stylized snowflake, made on self-adhesive paper on 9th December 2021 as New Year Greetings.

Russian prosecutor's office

Russia Post issued a set of 2 stamps to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Russian prosecutor's office on 7th December 2022.

German P. Karakozov (1926–1992) was an outstanding investigative officer of the Prosecutor's Office of the USSR, State Councilor of Justice 2nd Class, an Honored Lawyer of the RSFSR. 

Viktor V. Naydenov (1931-1987) was an outstanding procuracy and investigative officer of the Prosecutor's Office of the USSR, State Councilor of Justice 1st Class.

G.K. Zhukov and K.K. Rokossovsky

Russia Post issued a set of stamps on 30th November 2022 on the 125th birth anniversary of Marshals of the Soviet Union G.K. Zhukov (1896-1974) and K.K. Rokossovsky (1896-1968).

Arctic zone of the Russian Federation

Russia Post released a Miniature sheet on the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation on 25th November 2021 depicting Hooker Island, Tikhaya Bay, Chump Island and stone balls.

Arctic tourism in Russia is a part of tourism in Russia in the Arctic area, that is a physical and geographical region of the Earth adjacent to the North Pole and incorporating the continental margin in the territorial waters of the Russian Federation in the Arctic Ocean and the land domains of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.

"Russian Knights" and "Swifts"

Russia Post released a set of  2 stamps on Aerobatic aviation groups "Russian Knights" and "Swifts" on 24th November 2021 depicting images of the aircraft of Russkie Vityazi (Su-30SM) and Strizhi (MiG-29) aerobatics teams.

Aerobatics teams Russkie Vityazi and Strizhi were formed almost simultaneously on April 5 and May 6, 1991. Both groups were named by their pilots themselves. The groups are based in Kubinka of the Moscow Region in the composition of the Aircraft Demonstration Center named after I.N. Kozhedub.

 

The renewed Strizhi and Russkie Vityazi formations (of six aircraft) have been performing since 2014. Each new pilot has to undergo profound training in order to qualify to fly in the team.

Lukoil Oil Company

Russia Post issued a stamp on the Lukoil Oil Company on 23rd November 2022 depicting an image of a family of LUKOIL employees against the background of the Company infrastructure facilities and the Oil exposition hall of the VDNKh.

Prosecutor's Office of Russia

Russia Post released a Souvenir sheet to celebrate 300 years of the Prosecutor's Office of Russia on 17th November 2022 depicting a portrait of Count Pavel Yaguzhinsky (unknown Russian artist, 2nd half of the 18th century, Kuskovo Estate Museum); and the emblem of the prosecutor's office, a portrait of Peter I, and the Instructions for the position of the Attorney General of the Senate, approved by Peter I (Russian State Historical Archive).

Vladimir Dahl Russian State Literary Museum

Russia Post released a stamp to celebrate 100th Anniversary of the Vladimir Dahl Russian State Literary Museum on 15th November 2021 depicting images of the Museum building, the cover of the Explanatory Dictionary of the Living Great Russian Language by V. Dahl along with images of books and manuscripts.

F.M. Dostoevsky

Russia Post issued a miniature sheet to celebrate 200th anniversary of the birth of one of the most significant and world-famous Russian writer F.M. Dostoevsky (1821-1881), on 11th November 2021.

The miniature sheet has images of a book, a writer’s facsimile, and paintings by I. Glazunov: F.M. Dostoevsky (1992) and First Date. Illustration for Dostoevsky's story “White Nights” (2012) from the collection of the Gallery of Ilya Glazunov.

National musical instruments of Russia and Mongolia

Russia Post issued a stamp as joint issue of the Russian Federation and Mongolia to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations. depicting National musical instruments balalaika and morin khuuron on 5th November 2022.

The bilateral diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia were officially established on November 5, 1921, after the victory of the People's Revolution in Mongolia. Starting from the Soviet period, relations between the two countries have remained traditionally friendly.

The balalaika is a Russian folk trichord pizzicato musical instrument with a triangular wooden sound box.The morin khuur is a Mongolian national bowed instrument widespread in Mongolia, China, and Russia (Buryatia, Kalmykia, Irkutsk Region, and Trans Baikal Territory.

Raketa Petrodvorets Watch Factory

Russia Post released a stamp to celebrate the 300th Anniversary of the Raketa Petrodvorets Watch Factory on 3rd November 2021 depicting images of the Raketa Classic watch and the historic building of the factory in Peterhof.

Petrodvorets watch factory Raketa is one of the oldest factories in Russia. Its history dates back to the establishment in 1721 by decree of Peter I of the Peterhof lapidary works. After the October Revolution of 1917, the factory produced precision industrial stones for the USSR Military Department and the Red Army. Over the years, the factory manufactured various products from tops for umbrellas and canes, mosaic for the throne of the Naval Cathedral in Kronshtadt, tombs for the Peter and Paul Cathedral to ruby Kremlin stars. In 1949, the plant was restored after the Great Patriotic War and began producing watches Pobeda (Victory) and Zvezda (Star) and in 1954, the factory was given its present name Petrodvorets Watch Factory. Since 1961, the plant has been producing watches for civilians, as well as for polar explorers, cosmonauts, undersea boatmen and for the Army and Navy.

"Grand Kremlin Palace". Georgievsky Hall

Russia Post released a stamp depicting the Georgievsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace on 21st October 2021.

The Grand Kremlin Palace is one of the palaces of the Moscow Kremlin. It was built in 1838-1849 by order of Emperor Nicholas I. The palace functions as the ceremonial residence of the head of the state.

The Georgievsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace is the largest of the staterooms of the Moscow Kremlin. It was meant as a hall of military glory of Russian arms and was dedicated to the Order of St. George the Victorious, who since ancient times has been a symbol of Russian feats of arms and the chief guardian and protector of the Russian army. The ceiling vaults are highly decorated with symbols of the Order of St. George: gold stars and crosses. Presently, the Georgievsky Hall hosts meetings of the President of the Russian Federation with foreign delegations; besides, the Hall is used for full-dress dinners and festivals.

Tsypnavoloksky and Teribersky Lighthouse

Russia Post issued a set of 2 stamps of Tsypnavoloksky Lighthouse against the background of the Rybachy Peninsula of the Murmansk Region of the Kola Peninsula and a wind diagram; and the Teribersky Lighthouse against the background of the Murmansk coast of the Kola Peninsula and a wind diagram on15th October 2022.

The Tsypnavoloksky Lighthouse was built in 1896 on the northeastern top end of the Rybachy Peninsula on the Tsypnavolok Cape; sea routes that connect the ports of the Kola Bay, the White Sea and Siberian rivers with Western countries run past the lighthouse.

The Teribersky Lighthouse located on the northwestern top end of the oblong stony Kola Peninsula was put into operation in 1896.
