Russia Post released a set of 4 stamp on Uniform Jackets of Russian Diplomatic Service on 20th December 2016.

The stamps depict Uniforms of the following:

A privy counselor and a chancellor. The MFA of the Russian Empire (1834)

A state counselor and a collegiate registrar. The MFA of the Russian Empire (1904)

An Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR and an attaché of the People’s Commissariat of Foreign Affairs of the USSR (1945)

Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation (2001).

International Nuremberg Military Tribunals

Russia Post issued a souvenir sheet on the 70th Anniversary of the International Nuremberg Military Tribunals on 14th December 2016.

The Soviet Union, the United States, the United Kingdom and France entered into an agreement on trying main war criminals at the London Conference on August 8, 1945.

The postage stamp depicts a judgment hall where the Nuremberg trials took place and in the margins  a portrait of Iona Nikitchenko, a USSR Member of the Tribunal, and Roman Rudenko, USSR Chief Prosecutor, as well as a court house and the document of the proceedings is seen.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™. Football Legends (2)

Russia Post released a set of 7 stamps on 9th December 2016 featuring Football Legends of Russia like Anatoly Andreyevich Banishevsky, Valery Ivanovich Voronin, Anatoly Mikhailovich Ilyin, Evgeny Vasilyevich Rudakov, Pavel Fyodorovich Sadyrin, Igor Leonidovich Chislenko and Albert Alekseyevich Shesternev.

The first Eurasian nuclear reactor F-1

Russia Post released a stamp on The first Eurasian nuclear reactor F-1 on 8th December 2017.

The construction of the F-1 reactor was one of the key achievements of the Soviet atomic project and laid foundation for national nuclear industry. Fundamental research in  fields such as nuclear physics, materials science, reactor engineering, radiation safety and neutron emission metrology were carried out at the F-1 reactor. The F-1 reactor is a monument of science and engineering.

Outstanding Russian lawyers

Russia Post released a set of 3 stamps on 2nd December 2016 depicting outstanding Russian Lawyers like Gabriel Feliksovich Shershenevich, Konstantin Ivanovich Polenta and Vladimir Alexandrovich Tumanov.

Russia Post released a stamp on 1st December 2016 to celebrate New year which  depicts a New Year circle dance in a skating rink.

Russia Post released a joint issue with Kazakhstan on the The Battle of Moscow on 16th November 2016 depicting a group of Soviet soldiers during the Battle of Moscow.

Sights of the cities of St. Petersburg and Ohrid

Russia Post jointly issued a set of 2 stamp on the Sights of the cities of St. Petersburg and Ohrid, Macedonia on 13th December 2016.

St. Petersburg is considered the cultural capital of Russia, there is a large number of architectural ensembles and monuments, museums, cathedrals and garden complexes that impress the imagination with stylistic diversity and splendor. The peculiarities of the architecture of St. Petersburg are the proportionality of urban ensembles, the consideration of the influence of the natural environment and the harmony of various architectural styles.

The city of Ohrid is the pearl of the Republic of Macedonia, the first capital of the Macedonian state, the birthplace of the famous brothers Cyril and Methodius, the creators of the Slavonic script. Ohrid and Lake Ohrid in 1980 were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The city is famous for its architectural monuments, in which Byzantine murals were preserved.

The stamps depict the Cathedral of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity of the Izmailovsky Life Guards Regiment in St. Petersburg and the Church of St. John the Evangelist in Caneo in Ohrid.

Russia Post released a joint issue with Argentina on the traditions of their country on 14th November 2016.

In Russia, porcelain or faience single tea sets consisting of small cups and saucers are used for ceremonial and formal tea-parties. The people of Argentina mainly drink mate tea; its preparation process is a sacred ritual.The postage stamps feature a single tea set and mate.

“Russkaya Pravda” - “Russian Truth”

A special stamp was released on the 1000 Anniversary of the “Russian Truth” First Code of Laws of Ancient Rus’ on 31st October 2017.

“Russkaya Pravda” is a set of laws and regulations of Ancient Russia, the first main written source of Russian law.This Code book is an important part of the Russian history of law, also it is a monument of culture, because it reflects the household, the life, traditions and principles of housekeeping of Ancient Russia.

The Barguzinsky State Biosphere Nature Reserve

Russia Post released a Souvenir sheet to celebrate the 100th Foundation Anniversary of the Barguzinsky State Biosphere Nature on 27th October 2016. The Barguzinskiy Reserve is the first state natural reserve in Russia. It was established on 29 December 1916 (11 January 1917) to research, conserve and restore the sable.

It has been a part of UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves since 1986. It is a sign of an international recognition of its efforts in sable research and restoration, as well as in preserving natural biodiversity of the Baikal Region. The Reserve territory was wholly included into the Lake Baikal UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.

Federal Customs Service

Russia Post released a stamp on Federal Customs Service of Russia on 25th October 2016 which features the building and logo of the Russian FCS.

Central Federal Customs Authority of the Russian Federation carrying out customs controls, implementing measures of tariff and non-tariff regulation. Activities of the Federal Customs Service are also including detecting and suppression of the illegal traffic of weapons, drugs, ammunition and explosive items, and rare species of flora and fauna.

Dzhemaldin Khamurzayevich Yandiyev

Russia Post released a stamp on 10th November 2016 to celebrate the 100th Birthday Anniversary of Dzhemaldin Khamurzayevich Yandiyev (1916-1979) who was a People’s Poet of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR, a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR.

Metropolitan Macarius

Russia Post released a stamp to commemorate 200 years of birth of Metropolitan Macarius (1816-1882) on 7th October 2016. Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomna Macarius (Bulgakov) is an outstanding Russian thinker and public figure.

The stamp features the portrait of Metropolitan Macarius and in the background of the Moscow Kremlin Assumption of the Cathedral and the Church of the prophet Elijah (Exaltation) in Moscow.

Murmansk City

Russia Post issued a stamp featuring the Coat of arms of the Murmansk, the monument "Waiting" on the background of panorama of the port and the Aurora to celebrate The 100th Foundation Anniversary of Murmansk City on 4th October 2016.

Murmansk is a Russian port, which is located on the Eastern coast of the Kola Bay of the Barents sea, it is the largest city in the world located above the Arctic circle. The main industry are fishing and fish processing. Ship repairing, metal processing, geological exploration of mineral resources are also developed.

Indian School of Business

A special cover was released on 20th November 2016 at Mannauli to celebrate 15 years of Indian School of Business.

Abramtsevo State Historical, Artistic and Literary Museum-Reserve.

A souvenir sheet was issued on Abramtsevo State Historical, Artistic and Literary Museum-Reserve on 25th October 2016 which bears the portraits of Sergei Aksakov and Savva Mamontov and in the margins the main manor of the Abramtsevo Museum Reserve.

The Abramtsevo Museum Reserve is located 60 km from Moscow, not far from Sergiyev Posad. The museum complex comprises architectural monuments of the 18th and the 19th centuries (6 of them are monuments of federal importance), a park and a scenic surrounding area of the Vorya River, where outstanding Russian artists created their works of art. The museum collection contains more than 25,000 objects — paintings, drawings, ceramics, photos, sculptures and others.

In 1843, Sergey Aksakov (1791–1859), a writer, civil servant and public person, book and theater critic, as well as an author of memoirs and books about fishing and hunting, bought Abramtsevo.

Savva Mamontov (1841-1918), a railway mogul, philanthropist and founder of the first private opera in Russia, purchased Abramtsevo in 1870. During this time, Vasily Polenov, Viktor Vasnetsov, Ilya Repin, Ilya Ostroukhov, Valentin Serov, Konstantin Korovin, Mikhail Nesterov, Mikhail Vrubel and other artists, musicians and actors lived and worked in the estate.
