A special cover was released at Bengaluru on 31st October 2018 on Mahatma Gandhi and his Rajya Guru Gopal Krishna Gokhale.
Mahatma Gandhi visited Karnataka for the first time on 8th May, 1915 on request of D.V. Gundappa, He unveiled the portrait of his Rajya Guru Gopal Krishna Gokhale in the then Government High School(Now Government Arts College),Bengaluru.
