India Post released a stamp to launch " Beti Bachao Beti Phadao" scheme on 22nd January 2014 which is an initiative of the government to address issues that effect women and also reverse the trend of an adverse and declining child sex ratio. The stamps was was released by Prime Minister Sri. Narendra Modi in a function at Haryana.
