Russia Post released a stamp to celebrate 250th Anniversary of the St. Petersburg Mining University on 24th January 2023 depicting the image of it's building.
The Mining University is the first higher technical education institution in Russia founded by Empress Catherine II in 1773. The original name of the University was the Mining School.
