Ivan M. Gubkin

Russia Post released a stamp to celebrate 150 years since the birth of Ivan M. Gubkin on 28th October 2022.

Ivan M. Gubkin (1871–1939) was the organizer of the Russian oil geology, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1929), Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1936), winner of the Lenin Prize (1931).
