U L Acharya

A special cover was released in Mangaluru on 6th October 2020 to celebrate the birth centnery of Prof. U.L Acharya.

Professor U. L .Acharya born in Udupi was a distinguished teacher who was instrumental in promoting Physics in South Canara district. He has published several text books on popular science and values of life. He was adept in English and Kannada and also took keen interest in vedic astrology.
