A special cover was released on Akka - Tangi Temple at Ashoka Siddapura on 7th June 2019.
The Akka - Tangi Temple at Brahmagiri, Ashoka Siddapur, dedicated to Lord Shiva was built by two sisters. It is a modest temple of 12th-13th Century. It compromises an ardha mantapa and a pillared mahamantapa with its entrance provided with Kakshasana.
