Russia Post released a set of 2 stamp on Tower clocks which is a joint issue with
Switzerland on 21st May 2014.
First stamp depicts Zytglogge - clock tower of medieval origin
with the astronomical clock in the historical part of Bern, built between 1218
and 1220 as a defensive tower on the west end of the central city street. Her
striking clock is the official determinant of the exact time for the city. I
was designed by Caspar Brunner.
Second stamp depicts the Clock tower at Kazansky railway station in
Moscow which is considered to be an outstanding creation of domestic
architecture whose design architect AV Schusev developed personally. And he
drew his own zodiac sign for a large blue dial.
