Memorial to the Founder of IISc: The memorial to the founder of the Indian Institute of science (IISc) Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata was unveiled on the 10th March 1992 by the Maharaja of Mysuru Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV.

Digital Currency of Bharat: The Reserve Bank of India launched the pilot Digital Rupee - Retail segment on December 01 2022. The Central Bank Digital Currency is in the form of a digital token that represents legal tender. It is being issued in the same denominations of paper currency and coins that are currently issued. It is being distributed through financial banks. It offers features of physical cash like trust, safety and settlement finality.It will not earn any interest as in the case of cash and be converted to other forms of money like deposits with banks

Aditya-L1 - First Solar Mission of Bharat: The Aditya L1 mission is a prestigious project of the Indian Space Research Organisation.It is India's first mission to explore the sun and will gather important data about the sun for the next 5 years, which will be useful for understanding its dynamics and its impact on life. Aditya L1 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota on 2nd September 2023.

Bannerughatta Biological Park: Bannerugatta Biological Park Bengaluru, spread across 732 hectares is the largest Ex-Situ conservation Centre in Karnataka hosting a Zoological Park, Safari Park, Butterfly Park and the largest wild animal Rescue Centre. The park plays msjor role in conservation of rich floral and faunal diversity, sequesters carbon and sustains the regional hydrology. The park hosts more than 2000 animals in 100 species. Bannerghatta biological park is a significant centre for conservation education, research and recreation in the state also contributing to its economy.

Eight Special covers were released at the Venue of the Karnapex 2024, State Level Philatelic Exhibition held at Bengaluru on 5th January 2024.

Mascot Carried Special Cover: The Mascot carried Special cover is released during the 13th State Level Philatelic Exhibition " KARNAPEX-2024 - A Festival of Stamps" held from 5th to 8th January 2024 at Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru. The adorable Mascot named "Chittie" has won the hearts of the young and the old.

Kavi Kale: Kaavi Kale is a unique mural art found in the konkan coastal landscape. Kaavi or kave means" red oxide" while kale means " art form". These murals can be seen on the walls of shrines.

Sir. M.Visvesvaraya's Contribution : Bharat Ratna Sir. M Vishvesvaraya was an engineering genius, a statesman and most importantly a great institution builder. The erstwhile Mysore Chamber of Commerce founded by him on May 8th 1916 which later became the Federation of Karnataka chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) an apex body for trade and industry has been serving the interests of the business community since its inception.

Dr.Puneeth Rajkumar: Karnataka Ratna Shri Puneeth Rajkumar who mesmerised audiences through his performances in kannada cinema was born to legendary thespian Dr. Rajkumar and Smt. Parvathamma Rajkumar. his award winning performance in " Bettada Hoovu" and best child artist award in " Chalisuva Modagalu" and " Eradu Nakshthragalu" made him a household name. He earned the moniker" Appu" which lives eternally on the hearts of the kannadiga fans even though the kannada cine Industry had to bid him a tearful adieu on 29th October 2021.

Carlton House: Carlton House is an important colonial European style stone building that connects us with the British era. It was constructed by the famous British Auctioneer Mr.Carlton in 1880 and resided here for a few years and later the Diwan of Mysore State Sir Mirza Ismail also resided in this building. Later Carlton sold the property to the Mysore State Government. Bangalore University Office was housed here by the Government and later it was occupied by CID, Karnataka as its headquarters.

Lalitha Mahal Palace: Architecturally inspired by the St.Paul's cathedral, London and built during the reign of his highness Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, the Lalitha Mahal palace, the second largest palace in Mysuru is one of the iconic structures of the city. This Palace which was meant to host the Viceroy of India was converted to a heritage hotel in 1974.

Mysore Sandal: Government Sandalwood Oil factory was established by the Maharaja of Mysuru. Hus highness Nalwadi krishna Raja Wodeyar and Dewan Sir. M.Visveswaraya, during the year 1916 at Mysuru, to extract sandal wood oil from sandalwood. the foresight and enthusiasm of the Maharaja enabled Mysuru to be the fragrance ambassador of India. The relentless effort of Sir.S.G.Shastry, a noted chemist for manufacture of soap resulted in the introduction of Mysore sandalwood soap to the world in the year 1918. Mysore Sandalwood soap is the only soap in the world made from pure vegetable oils base with 100% pure natural sandalwood oil.
