Republic of Sakha

Russia Post released a souvenir sheet to celebrate 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on 22nd July 2022. The round shaped stamp reads "100 years of Republic of Sakha" and on the sheet  features the coat of arms,  the national ornament, the Yakut round dance, the Yakutsk State Academic Russian Drama Theater,  the National Art Museum of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Lena Pillars, the ALROSA Yakut diamond trading company, the monument to Peter Beketov, the founder of Yakutsk, and others.

The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is the largest territorial subject of the Russian Federation in terms of area. It forms part of the Far Eastern Federal District.

Ideas, Actions, Resolve and achievements @ 75

A Set of 4 Special covers were released on 11th October 2022 at New Delhi on the theme Ideas, Actions, Resolve and achievements @ 75 to celebrate the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Russian Wheel-type tractors

Russia Post released a set of 4 stamps on the wheel-type tractors depicting Karlik, STZ 15/30, Vladimirets T-25A, and Kirovets K-7M on 15th July 2022.

A wheeled tractor is a self-propelled vehicle on wheels intended for pulling and activation of various vehicles and tools. Tractors are used in agriculture, construction works, and in industry. The first steam-powered wheeled tractor was manufactured in 1832-1837 by John Heathcoat in England. The first wheeled tractor in Russia was assembled by Yakov Mamin in 1910, but mass production was launched in 1922-1924.

S.K.Abdul Mannan

 India Post released a stamp to celebrate 125 years of Sardar School, Jodhpur on 13th December 2022.

Day of Family, Love and Fidelity

Russia Post issued a stamp to celebrate the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity on 8th July 2022 depicting images of symbols of the pioneer organization: badges "Be Prepared" and "Always Prepared!" against the background of a pioneer tie.

 

On June 28, 2022, President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed Decree No. 411 On the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. As stated in the text of the Decree, the holiday is fixed for July 8 with the purpose of retaining traditional family values and spiritual and moral education of children and young people.

Contemporary Art of Russia

Russia Post issued a set of 4 stamps on 30th June 2022 on the Contemporary Art of Russia depicting a paintings Mid-summer by I. Glazunov (2010), Portrait of USSR Air Forces Major N. Bazanov. Amderma village by A. Bazanov (2018), Courtyard in Kolomna by A. Fedulov (1994) and a sculpture The Tale of Tsar Saltan by A. Rozhnikov (2016).
