Acharya padarohan diwas of digambar Jain Aacharya Puja Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj. - Satna.

A Special Cover on the occasion of 50th golden anniversary of Acharya padarohan diwas of digambar Jain Aacharya Puja Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, a special cover and special cancellation has been released at Satna (M.P.) on 22nd November 2021.

A function was organised at the office of superintendent of post offices Satna. Mr. Yogesh tamrakar, Director MTNL was the chief guest and Mr R. D. Sharma superintendent of post offices presided the function. Mr Sudhir Jain, president, Central India Philatelic Society and Er. Ramesh Jain President, Digambar Jain Samaj Satna where special guests. Mr. Rajendra Agrawal Shashi, Mr Piyush Jain and Singhai Jay Kumar Jain also addressed the function. Large number of philatelists and citizens where present on this occasion. This was the 40th special cover issued by the Central India Philatelic Society since the year 1974. Among these this is the fifth cover related to Jainism.

Dusseheri Mango

A Special cover on the Dusseheri Mango was released on 13th October 2021 at Lucknow.

The Dusseheri mango was first seen in the orchard of the "Nawab of Lucknow", The oldest orchard of Dusseheri mango called 'Bara Bagh' is situated at Matihabad. Malihabad in Uttar Pradesh is the largest producer of Dusseheri mangoes. Dusseheri mango of Malihabad is exported to many countries across the world.

As part of Mahakavi Jagadguru Santshiromani Digambaracharya Vidyasagar's Sanskrithi shasnacharya Golden Jubilee Year many Special Covers were released all over India on 22nd November 2021.. Some covers are published below which are released in places like Mumbai, Nashik, Ahmedabad, Indore, Dadabari, Gurugram, Kolhapur, Rajkot, Sangli, Haripur, Ajmer, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Sawar, Hyderabad, Aurangabad, Nasirabad, Varanasi, Kanpur etc.

A Special Cover on Gandiji- Mohan to Mahatma was released on the occasion of Ekamrapex 2021 held at Bhubaneshwar on 16th November 2021.

Special Cover and its cancellation depicts Mahatma Gandhi. Special cancellation depicts logo of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' though with some modifications.

Smooth Coated Otter.

A Special Cover on the Smooth Coated Otter was released on 8th October 2021 at Bengaluru as part of the 67th Wild Week Celebrations.

Smooth- coated Otter (Lutrogale perpicillata) is an Otter species occurring in most of the Indian subcontinent and SouthEast Asia. It is one of the three Otter species found in India. Smooth-coated Otters, though being the top predators of our riverine habitats, are threatened by poaching for pelt and other body parts. This special cover is released to create an awareness among the public to protect this species which is listed as "Vulnerable" on the IUCN Red List and also listed in the Part II of Schedule II of Wildlife Protection Act 1972. Tungabhadra Otter Conservation Reserve, near Hampi, Karnataka is the first Protected Area in India declared for the conservation of Otters.

A Special on Pusarla Venkata Sindhu was released on 29th August 2021 at Film Nagar (Andhra Pradesh) as part of National Sports day.

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu became the First Indian Baminton World Champion in 2019. She is the First Woman individual athlete from India to win two consecutive medals at the Olympic Games.

A Special Cover on Hump-Backed Masheer was released during the 67th Wildlife Week on 2nd October 2021 at Bengaluru.

Hump-Backed Masheer.Hump-backed Mahseer (Tor remadevii] also called as "Orange- finned Mahseer' is a charismatic freshwater fish. endemic to river cauvery and its tributaries. which is on the brink of extinction. It is recognized as one of the world's top 20 freshwater mega fauna and is popularly known as the "Tiger of the Cauvery River". It is characterized by a distinctive "hump-shaped back and orange tinged fins". Mahseer plays a very vital role in balancing the riverine ecosystem by feeding on everything from fish. frogs, crabs, aquatic insects. worms, fruit, seeds, leaves and algae. This Special Cover is released to create awareness among the public towards this "Critically endangered" species which is on the list of International Union for Conservation of Nature (ICUN) Red List, as it is threatened by poaching, destructive fishing methods. introduction of invasive and competing fish species. pollutants and habitat degradation.
