Baba Koteshwar Nath Dham

A Special Cover was released at Main, in Gaya district of Bihar, on 4th August 2024 on Baba Koteshwar Nath Dham Temple.

This temple is believed to have been built during the Gupta period. The temple complex comprises several shrines, the main shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The serene atmosphere of the temple, coupled with the natural beauty of the surrounding, make it a perfect destination for spiritual tourism. The cover illustration depicts the temple complex and the Peepal tree. The cancellation depicts the Peepal tree.
