Frogs of Russia

A set of 4 stamps was released by Russia Post on the Frogs of Russia on 25th February 2021 on Pool frog, Iranian long-legged, Asiatic grass frog and Siberian Wood Frog.

Frogs constitute a group of animals of the order of tailless amphibians consisting of more than 400 species and distributed on nearly all continents; they prefer mainly fresh water ponds.The 10 species of frogs that live on the territory of the Russian Federation are Asiatic grass frog, Iranian long-legged wood frog, laughing frog, moor frog, pool frog, Siberian wood frog, edible frog, grass frog, Hokkaido frog and black spotted frog.
