A Special cover was released at Patna to celebrate 250 years of Copper Ticket at Patna on 31st March 2024.
The Copper Ticket was issued on 31st March 1774 at Patna, then known as Azimabad. The Copper Ticket was a prepaid token to pay postage. It was issued in denomination of 1 Ana and 2 Ana, as per the distance.
