Nalanda College, Biharsharif (Bihar), the oldest college of the Magadh University, was founded by Rai Bahadur Edal Singh in 1870. The cover illustration depicts the college building along with statue of the founder and the cancellation depicts Lotus flower and Dharmachakra, as its logo.

Prof Udupi Ramachandra Rao, born in the year Neutron was discovered,
went on to become the nucleus of India's Space Programme. As one who
strongly believed in 'Science for the Society', it is not at all
surprising that early space missions focused on weather forecasting,
telecommunication and prospecting the rich natural resources of India,
As Chairman of ISRO as well as of Space Commission, Prof Rao
indigenously built the necessary rocket technology for all the space
missions. This spirit continues to this day.
In recognition of his monumental work, the Government of India awarded the prestigious 'Padma Bhushana' in 1976 and the 'Padma Vibhushana' in 2017.

The Bank prompted the formation of Manipal Power Press known as Manipal Technologies Limited to day. Great Hornbill (Buceros bicornis) is large beautiful, extravagant, awe-inspiring bird with a distinctive projecting casque mounted on the large curved beak. It is significant part of several tribal cultures. They aid in dispersal of seeds through droppings and help in regeneration of important forest species and thereby earning the apt c1epe "Farmers of the forest" or "Feathered foresters".
