Battle on the Ice
Russian Post released a Souvenir Sheet to commemorate the 775th Anniversary of the Battle on the Ice on 26th April 2017 featuring a painting The Battle on the Ice by Valentin Serov (1942).
The Battle on the Ice was fought between the Russian Army led by prince Alexander Nevsky and the crusaders of the Livonian branch of the Teutonic Knights on April 5, 1242 at Lake Peipus.

India-Russia Joint issue
India Post and Russian Post released a set of 2 stamp jointly to celebrate 70 years of diplomatic relations on 26th October 2017. The stamps depict Bhavai dance of Rajasthan, India and Beryozka dance of Russia.
One of the most famous Russian folk dance is the "Berezka" dance. This
dance represents the synchronous movement of dancers and the
simultaneous performance of a choral song. Characteristic elements,
smooth movements in a circle, a chain (one after another), like a snake in
two lines, rotations around each other or in pairs around common centers
in groups, short and frequent steps that create the impression of
slipping with the dancer holding handkerchiefs or branches
of birch.
Bhavai is a popular folk theater form in the Indian states of Rajasthan
and Gujarat. Men play music, while a woman, dressed in a bright,
colorful costume with numerous ornaments, performs a dance, holding 8-9 pitchers on her head. The dance of Bhavai is performed at various festivals and weddings.

A commemorative stamp was issued by Russia Post on 21st April 2017 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Association of Combat Veterans of Internal Affairs Agencies and the Internal Troops of Russia, depicting its celebration logo.
The All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization “Association of Combat Veterans of Internal Affairs Agencies and the Internal Troops of Russia” was founded in 1992. The association unites members, servicemen and pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia agencies that took part in battle actions under a decision by the Government of the USSR and Russia.

Turtles - Russia
Russia Post released a set of 4 stamp on 4th April 2017 featuring turtles of Russia like the European pond turtle, the spur-thighed tortoise, the Caspian turtle and the Chinese softshell turtle.
In Russia, there are four types of turtles, with only the spur-thighed tortoise living on land. It lives in the Caucasus. Some of its subspecies are endangered, and the very species is listed in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation. Of the water turtles, the Russian Federation is inhabited by the European pond turtle, the Chinese softshell turtle and the Caspian turtle.

Russia Post issued a stamp on The 100th Anniversary of the Krassin Icebreaker on 31st March 2017.
Krassin is an Arctic vessel of Soviet and Russian fleets. She was called Svyatogor prior to 1927, after which she was renamed Krassin to honor a recently deceased Soviet political leader Leonid Krasin.
