The Zosima Hermitage Convent of the Russian Orthodox Church is located in the namesake village in the Novofyodorovskoye settlement of the Troitsk Administrative District of Moscow.

Philatelic Bureau, Belagavi

A special cover was released on the occasion of the inauguration of renovated Philatelic Bureau Belagavi on 23rd December 2020 and forms the insignia for the newly introduced permanent pictorial cancellation(PPC) at Belagavi HO. 

 
Belgaum Native General Library established in 1848 AD, is the first library started in Bombay Presidency Karnataka. It is now called Sarvajanik Vachanalaya Belagavi. The clock tower on the library which still stands tall, was built later(1930-35). The clock tower is now a landmark monument in Belagavi and situated in the heart of the city, Ganpat Galli.

National Tourism Day.

 A set of 4 covers were released in Belagavi on 25th January 2021 to mark the National Tourism Day.

Fort Lake, Belagavi: The Fort lake, also known as Kote Kere, is situated in front of the Shree Durga Devi Temple entrance of the Belagavi Fort. Pedal boats, a floating restaurant and a mini amusement park are some of the attractions at the Lake site. A 360 feet (110 meters) tall monumental National Flag of India was unfurled at the Lake on 12th March 2018, which was the then tallest National Flag of the Country.

Veerasoudha, Belagavi: Veersoudha is a memorial built to commemorate the 1924 session of the Indian National Congress held at Belagavi. This was the only time Mahatma Gandhi presided over the 39th conference of Indian National Congress. Mahatma Gandhi's presence in the 1924 Session of the Congress at Belagavi gave a new fillip to the freedom movement in the Region

Rajhansgad (Yellur Fort), Belagavi: Rajhansgad (Yellur Fort) is located on a hillock in Yellur Village in Belagavi District the Fort is believed to have been constructed many centuries ago and has been under the control of rulers including the Yadavas. Hoysalas, Bahamanl, Adilshahi and the Marathas. It is believed that the fort mainly served as an outpost of the Belagavi fort. mainly to spot and prevent enemies attacking from Goa and Karwar areas. Situated at an elevation of around 3200 feet. the Fort offers a beautiful view of Belagavi City.

Belgavi to Nashik - First Flight

A First flight carried special cover was released at Belgavi on 25th January 2021 on the occasion of  the commencement of commercial flight operations between the cities of Belagavi and Nashik by Star Air under the UDAN Scheme of the Government of India.

The connect between Belagavi (Karnataka) and Nashik (Maharashtra) dates back to the period of Lord Rama. Mythology has it the Lord Rama made Nashik his abode during 14 years in exile while his ardent devotee, Shabari, was waiting to host the Lord in Sureban village in Ramdurga Taluk of Belagavi.

On 12th January 2021 Bihar Postal Circle issued a Special Cancellation, at Bhagalpur,  on birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, observed nationally as Youth Day. The cancellation depicts Swami Vivekananda and the motto of the Ramakrishna Order i. e.  'Atmano Mokshartham, Jagaddhitaya Cha'. The cancellation design was proposed by Shri Lalit Kumar Mishra.

Silver Jubilee of Rotary Club of Mangalore Sunrise

A special cover was released on 12th February 2021 at Head Post Office Mangaluru to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Rotary Club of Mangalore Sunrise. 

Being a palindromic date a permanent pictorial cancellation of Mangalore Philatelic Bureau is also used on the special cover.

Rotary Club of Mangalore Sunrise (Club # 31296) in Rotary International District 3181( formerly 3180) was chartered on 12th February 1996. It is the only Club in erstwhile undivided RI district to meet on a Sunday morning. Members are from various backgrounds and are engaged in several charitable, social service, community development, empowering and awareness activities. The signature project of the club is Cancer Awareness.

Chauri-Chaura

A special cover was released on 4th February 2021 at Gorakhpur to commemorate the centenary of the Chauri-Chaura incident that occurred during the Non-cooperation Movement, called and led by Mahatma Gandhi. The cover illustration depicts the Shaheed Smarak located in Chauri-Chaura,  Gorakhpur. The cancellation depicts artist's impression of the movement.

25th International Film Festival of Kerala

A special cover was released to celebrate the silver Jubilee celebration of International Film Festival of Kerala on 29th January 2021 at Thiruvananthapuram.

The international Film Festival of Kerala is organised by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala. It is held every year in Thiruvananthapuram. The Festival was first held in 1994. In 1998 the Chalachitra Academy was formed and it was entrusted with the conduct of IFFK together with other activities for promotion of cinema in the State. In 1999 a competition section was added and the festival obtained FIAPF accreditation. Over the years the IFFK has grown into one of the most anticipated film events in the country with over 12000 delegates attending it annually.

Russia Post released a stamp to mark the 75th Anniversary of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) depicting its logo and its activities on 16th November 2020.

UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, is a specialized agency of the United Nations for educational, scientific and cultural issues.

The organization was founded on November 16, 1945; it is headquartered in Paris (France). Currently, it amounts to 195 member states, 2 observer states and 10 associate members, which are territories that are not responsible for the conduct of their international relations.

The aims declared by the organization are to promote world peace and security through wider international cooperation between states and peoples in the fields of education, sciences, and culture; to ensure justice and observance of lawfulness, universal respect for human rights and fundamental human freedoms proclaimed in the UN Charter for all peoples, regardless of race, gender, language, orientation or religion.

Covid-19 Vaccination Launch

A special cover was released to commemorate the landmark step of lndia in fighting COVID·19 at Bengaluru on 16th January 2021.

India will commence one of the largest coronavirus vaccination drives in the world from 16th January 2021. Nearly 3 erore health care and front line workers will receive the vaccine during the first phase. Two doses of the vaccine will be given at a 28-days interval.
