A Special cover was released on 10th August 2017 to celebrate 125 years of  Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Mysuru, popularly known as "Mysuru Zoo"

Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Mysuru was established in the year 1892 by the 23rd Maharaja of Mysuru, Sri Chamarajendra Wodeyar. At present the zoo housed 1521 animals of 153 species from India and around the world, and is regarded as one of the best in Asia.

Raipur Municipal Corporation situated at the heart of city came into existence on May 22 1867. Raipur Municipal corporation Headquarters, Popularly known as Nagar Nigam "White House" because of its marvelous design.Many unique projects like Indoor Stadium, Statue of Vivekananda at Budha Talab and India's tallest National Flag mast at Telibandha Talab has been executed by Raipur Municipal Corporation paving the ways in the making Raipur a Smart city.

A special cover on 'Revolutionary Freedom fighters of Jharkhand'  was released on 15the August 2017,  Independence Day by Smt Shashi Shalini Kujur, Postmaster General, Jharkhand. 

This special cover is dedicated to brave hearts of  Jharkhand namely Birsa Munda, Telenga Khadiya, Tilka Manjhi, Sido Murmu, Kanhu Murmu, Nilamar, Pitamber, Veer Budhu Bhagat, Lal Thakur Vishwanath Shahdev, Tikait Umrao Singh, Pandey Ganpat Rai, Shaikh Bhikari, Jatra Uraon who faught valiantly  against oppressive rule of Britishers.

On the occasion of Chaturmas spiritual function of 9th Jain Acharya of Jaimal Gachchha and first Sravan sanghiya Yuvacharya  Pujya Mishrimal Ji Maharaj Sab “Madhukar”, a special cover was released on 12th August 2017 at Bhilai (C.G.). Dr. Sarita Singh, Chief Postmaster General, Chhattisgarh Circle released this special cover and special cancellation in a grand function.

A set of 2 special cover were released on 19th August 2017, the second day of Tulunadpex 2017 - Regional level Philatelic and Numismatic Exhibition held at Manipal.

Cover depicts Khan Bahadur Haji Kasim Saheb Bahadur, founder of the Canara Banking Corporation Ltd., which was named as Corporation Bank. His residence was the first branch of the bank which is now converted to Corporation Bank heritage Museum.

A permanent pictorial cancellation of  Kaup Lighthouse was  introduced at the Venue of Tulunadpex 2017 by the Postal department.

Kaup Lighthouse was built in 1901. The active Lighthouse was a round masonry tower which was painted inn black and white horizontal bands. the lantern dome of the lighthouse is painted red. It is one of the best known lighthouse of Karnataka.

Sabarmati Ashram

A special cover was released at Ahmedabad on 17th June 2017 to celebrate the centenary of the Sabarmati Ashram.

Mahatma Gandhi described the ashram as the necessity of life for him. The Ashram founded as the principle of truth and non voilence sought to realise and extend the very meaning of fredom and equality. It's endavour was to free both the oppressed and the Oppressor from voilence and injustice. the Ashram that witnessed the making of history now stands as a heritage of humankind and reminder of journey to be made.

Russia Post issued a stamp featuring St Michael's Castle on 15th March 2017 under Europa Issues.

St Michael’s Castle is a former royal residence in the center of Saint Petersburg, and a major architectural landmark of 18–19 centuries. It was built as a water castle for Emperor Paul I by architects Vincenzo Brenna and Vasily Bazhenov in 1797–1801.
