2 Special covers were released to celebrate the birth centenary of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar on 17th December 2018 and 16th February 2019.

Padma Vibhushan Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar (1918-2014), an ambassador of Yoga, united the world through Yoga and gave new life to millions of people. These special covers were is released on 17-12-2018 and 16-02-2019 to mark his birth centenary, at his birth place Bellur in Kolar district of Karnataka.

Kudli Rameshwara Temple and Sangama

A special cover of Rameshwara Temple, Kudli was released on 21st March 2019 at Kudli, Shivamogga.

Kudli is a small village in Shivamogga District, is the place where two rivers, the Tunga River and Bhadra River meet to give rise to the Tungabhadra River. A view of the Sangama makes the place exotic with the 12th century Rameshwara Temple adding to its culture-rich natural beauty. A small temple with Nandi denotes the exact point where the two rivers meet and is considered to be sacred.

Pakeezah - Path to successful womanhood - International Women's Day

A special cover was released on 8th March 2019 at Patiala to celebrate International Women's Day.

Pakeezah is a social health initiative of District Administration Patiala in collaboration with Bharat Petroleum to make the girls and women of Patiala aware about healthy Menstrual practices and providing low-cost sanitary pads. The project plays a subtle role in building social capital and social mobilization at grass-root level by providing an interactive platform where young adolescents of both genders can come together and talk about mensuration which has been considered a forbidden thing in traditional Indian society. Pakeezah as the name indicates has all pure intentions to inspire women to accept mensuration as a natural part of them and more aware about it scientifically. District administration Patiala is releasing this special cover on the occasion of International Women's Day.

No Tobacco Day

On 31st May 2019, No Tobacco Day,  a special cancellation was issued at Patna to create awareness on the effects of Tobacco.

A special cancellation was issued at Patna to generate  awareness towards fatal effects of addictive consumption of tobacco and tobacco products.Tobacco, due to its nicotine content, remains one of the widespread addictions worldwide.Mahatma Gandhi, while generating fund for All India Tilak Memorial Swaraj Fund in 1921, had given a clarion call to 'Give Up Smoking'. In the backdrop of Gandhi's birth sesquicentennial celebration, this cancellation is a befitting tribute to him as well as a cautionary awareness against tobacco, the invited killer.

Special cancellations on World No Tobacco Day 2019, were released from Bodhgaya and Muzaffarpur also, in addition to Patna.The cancellation design of Bodhgaya is same as that of Patna but in the cancellation of Muzaffarpur we find a repetition of 'NoTobacco Day' and Muzaffarpur written within box.

Shree Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, dedicated to an incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu, was built by the Hoysalas in the early 13th century. It is located in Bhadravati town, Shivamogga District of Karnataka state. The basic building material being Soap stone.
