A special cover was released at Kalaburagi on 21st December 2019 to celebrate 30 years of Chandrakant Patil English Medium School at Kalaburagi.

Dr. Galangalappa Patil popularly known as S.B. Patil, a Rajyotsava Awardee, an industrialist, educationist, a philanthropist and an illustrious son of Kalaburagi. Chandrakant Patil English Medium School was founded by him in 1989 with great vision. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi
