Russia Post released a souvenir sheet to celebrate 30th Anniversary of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on 13th December 2024 depicting images of the badges of a senator of the Russian Federation and a deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
On December 12, 1993, the Constitution of the Russian Federation was adopted by popular vote. According to Chapter 5, the Federal Assembly, the modern Russian Parliament, is the representative and legislative body of the country. It consists of two chambers: the Federation Council and the State Duma.
