A Special cover was released to celebrate 75 glorious year of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers on 16th April 2022 at Kolkata.

Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) was established on the eve of the Indian Independence on 18 May 1947 by Dr. Hira Lal Roy, the great visionary and pioneer of Chemical Engineering education in India, along with a few other stalwarts for spreading Chemical Engineering education and promoting the interest of the profession. From a very modest beginning, over the last 75 years, IIChE has emerged today as an apex national body with around 30000 members, overseeing the interest of the academics and the industry in the diverse fields of chemical engineering. It's activities are spread across the country through its Headquarters in Kolkata and 45 Regional Centres as well as 180 Student Chapters.
