Two Special covers of freedom fighters, Shyamdev Narayan and Tara Rani Shrivastava were released on 13th October 2021 at Siwan.
Shyamdev Narayan alias Ram Singh (1905 - 2000 AD), was a freedom fighter who took part in struggle for freedom from 1931 to 1947.

Tara Rani Shrivastava took lead role in Quit India Movement and also encouraged other women to participate in freedom struggle. In 1942, Tara Rani, with her husband Phulendu Babu, gathered people and marched to Siwan Police Station. On way to Siwan Police Station, her husband was shot by the police but she continued marching and unfurled the tricolor. By the time she returned to her husband, he had died.
