A Special cover on the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation was released on 3rd September 2021 on the occasion of it's 60th foundation day at Bengaluru & in recognition of the Humanitarian Services during Covid-19 Pandemic
Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is the lifeline of the people of the State. The Corporation has been providing transport services for intra-State and Inter-State. The Corporation has rendered six decades of efficacious service and produced several milestones through its commuter friendly services. Specially during the COVID-19 pandemic. where buses were converted as mobile fever clinics, swab collection center. Ladies Toilet, Ambulance, Cancer Care Blood Bank and even buses filled with oxygen as 'Oxygen on Wheels' and converted as 'ICU on Wheels', Bus Station converted in association with Rotary as COVID care center to save precious lives as a part of corporate social responsibility. So also, KSRTC ferried freely more than a lakh migrant labourers and contributed as a frontline COVID warriors.
