National Tourism Day.

 A set of 4 covers were released in Belagavi on 25th January 2021 to mark the National Tourism Day.

Fort Lake, Belagavi: The Fort lake, also known as Kote Kere, is situated in front of the Shree Durga Devi Temple entrance of the Belagavi Fort. Pedal boats, a floating restaurant and a mini amusement park are some of the attractions at the Lake site. A 360 feet (110 meters) tall monumental National Flag of India was unfurled at the Lake on 12th March 2018, which was the then tallest National Flag of the Country.

The Ramakrishna Mission Ashram at Belagavi Fort was inaugurated on 23rd May 2001. The complex comprises of the Swami Vivekanand Monument and the Universal Temple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.

Veerasoudha, Belagavi: Veersoudha is a memorial built to commemorate the 1924 session of the Indian National Congress held at Belagavi. This was the only time Mahatma Gandhi presided over the 39th conference of Indian National Congress. Mahatma Gandhi's presence in the 1924 Session of the Congress at Belagavi gave a new fillip to the freedom movement in the Region

Rajhansgad (Yellur Fort), Belagavi: Rajhansgad (Yellur Fort) is located on a hillock in Yellur Village in Belagavi District the Fort is believed to have been constructed many centuries ago and has been under the control of rulers including the Yadavas. Hoysalas, Bahamanl, Adilshahi and the Marathas. It is believed that the fort mainly served as an outpost of the Belagavi fort. mainly to spot and prevent enemies attacking from Goa and Karwar areas. Situated at an elevation of around 3200 feet. the Fort offers a beautiful view of Belagavi City.
