A special cover was released at Bengaluru to celebrate the World Postcard day on 1st October 2020.
1st October is celebrated as World Postcard Day. Introduced in 1869 as a way of sending a simple message, postcards quickly evolved beyond their practical purpose to become the universal souvenir that brightens everyone's mailboxes. There's nothing quite like the joy of finding a surprise postcard in your mailbox, and the goal for the World Postcard Day is to bring that joy to as many people as possible.
