World Post day

Every year 9th October is celebrated as World Post Day , the anniversary of the establishment of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874 in Berne, Switzerland. It was decided to be celebrated as World Post Day by the UPU Congress held in Tokyo, Japan, in 1969.
