Russia Post released a souvenir sheet to commemorate 135 years of Russia-Turkish War on 5th March 2013.
The Souvenir sheet depicts "General MD Skobelev on a horse "(1883) a painting from the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum.
The war between Russia and Turkey is the result of the national liberation movement against the Ottoman rule in the Balkans and the aggravation of international conflicts in the Middle East.
