On the day of Chakra Snanam a holy dip of Sudarshana Chakrattalwar of Malayappa swamy is performed. this is the Avabhritha snanam. This is performed as holy dip of the Sudarshan Chakra a the end of the yajna. A dip in the holy lake of Swamy Puskarni along with the Chakrattalwar, casts off the bonds of thier former birth, become prosperous and live happily in both this world and the other world as well.
Universal Health Coverage Day
A special cover was released to celebrate Universal Health Coverage Day on 12th December 2018 at Bangalore G.P.O.
On 12 December 2012, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA)
unanimously endorsed a resolution urging countries to accelerate
progress toward universal health coverage (UHC) - the idea that
everyone, everywhere should have access to quality, affordable health
care - as an essential priority for international development.
International Universal Health Coverage Day (UHC Day) on 12th December
aims to mobilize diverse stake holders to call for stronger, more
equitable health systems to achieve universal health coverage, leaving
no one behind.

India's first Insect Museum.
A special cover was released on 4th December 2018 at Coimbatore on India's first Insect Museum.
India's first Insect museum was established in Tamil Nadu Agricultural
University, Coimbatore. The museum was commissioned in the year 2013 and
was completed by 2017. Insects collected since 1900s are housed here.
The museum showcases a rich diversity of insects from all over the
country as never seen before.
The museum aims to create interest and scientific curiosity about the world of insects among students, the torch bearers of science. It serves as a reference point on insect identification for researchers. It is an all-know-about insect knowledge hub for the general public. Farmers also will be benefited with the knowledge on crop pests, their damage symptoms and the beneficial nature
of insects.

200th Anniversary of Grozny
Russia Post issued a stamp to celebrate 200th Anniversary of Grozny on 5th October 2018.
Grozny is a city in the North Caucasus, in the south of Russia, the
capital of the Chechen Republic, the center of the Grozny District. The
Grozny fortress was founded in 1818 by order of General A.P. Ermolov.
The city is located on both banks of the river Sunzha. The city of
Russia's military glory (since April 6, 2015).
Today Grozny is a dynamically developing capital that combines the
achievements of modern architecture with the careful preservation of
historically significant architectural buildings that are the decoration
of the capital of the Chechen Republic.
The postage stamp shows the mosque "Heart of Chechnya" named after
Akhmad Kadyrov against the background of a complex of high-rise
buildings "Grozny-City".

Russia Post released a set of 4 stamp on Contemporary Russian Art on 20th September 2018.
The series of postage stamps “Contemporary Art of Russia” reflects the
work of modern authors, conveying the atmosphere of the new Russia, its
originality and dynamism, demonstrates the techniques and approaches
inherent in our era to create paintings and sculptural compositions.
Postage stamps depict:
- a monument to soldiers who died in local wars and military conflicts (2007)
G.Z. Dolmogombetova;
- sculpture “painter M.V. Nesterov ”(2015) A.A. Mironov;
- the painting “In the Fields” (2003) N.N. Plastova;
- cabinet hours with a calendar (2005) P.N. Radimov.

Karnatak Law Society
A special cover was released to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Karnatak Law Society and Raja Lakhamgouda Law College, Belagavi on 15th September 2018.
More than three quarters of a century ago, seven eminent lawyers from Belagavi decided to make legal education accessible to citizens of North Karnataka and formed Karnatak Law Society in 1939 and made an application for opening a new Law College, which was named after Shrimant Raja Lakhamgouda Sirdesai of Vantmuri in recognition of his munificence.

100th Anniversary of the Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute
Russia Post released a stamp to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute on 5th September 2018.The stamp depicts the bust of A.F. Ioffe works by sculptor GD Glikman and the building of the Physicotechnical Institute A.F. Ioffe Academy of Sciences.
The Physicotechnical Institute conducts its history from the department of the same name of the State X-ray and Radiological Institute (GRRI), established in September 1918 on the initiative of professors A.F. Ioffe and M.I. Nemenova.

A set of 2 special cover was released on Swarna Rathotsavam, and Aswa
Vahanam on the occasion of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vari Navaratri
Brahmotsavams 2018 at Thirumala on 17th October 2018.
During Rathotsavam Lord Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi amd Budevi
goes round in procession mounted on massive Rath. Seated in Rath Lord
Venkateshwara teaches us to control our senses with mind as the rein, to
drive the chariot like body with the help of the charioteer called
Buddhi on a proper path. Malayappa Swamy is the charioteer and
controller.
On Aswa vahana Lord Malayappa Swamy goes in procession looking like a
warrior with a helmet on his head and word in his hand to protect dharma
as incarnation of Kalki. The Lord teaches us through the horse chariot
that we should also carry on with our lives by keeping our senses that
are like horsed, under control. Lord Vishnu will establish Dharma in the
form of Kalki.

39th Indian National Congress, Belagavi
A special cover was released in Belagavi on 27th December 2018 to celebrate the 39th Indian National Congress, Belagavi which was held in 1924.
Mahatma Gandhiji having extracted promise to move ahead with inter-faith,inter-caste and inter- party UNITY, declared the struggle for freedom to be carried forward in the path of Non-violence with Non-cooperation. He asked the people not to get discouraged even if the heavens are at loose. This propelled country faster towards freedom.
39th Indian National Congress, Belagavi ao Hardikar strived hard to make the congress session at Belagavi with Gandhiji as president, a great success, supported by later's "Seva Dal" Volunteers. A special well (Pampa Sarovar) itself was built in the vicinity of the session to meet water requirement of delegates of the session, which is famous even today as " Congress well".
