The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia
Russia Post issued a Souvenir sheet on 14th June 2018 for The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ which is the 21st FIFA football championship which will take place in 11 largest Russian cities from June 14 till July 15, 2018.
Participating teams are divided into 8 groups, 4 teams each. The tournament will see 64 matches, including: 48 at the group stage and 16 play-offs to determine the winner and runners-up.
The finals of the FIFA World Cups™ are the most spectacular and interesting events, which always command a wide viewership and draw the interest of the whole sport community, as the top-rank national teams of the world and prominent football players take part in the competitions. The final match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia will take place at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on July 15.
The miniature sheet depicts a stylized football with the pictures of stadiums and landmarks of the cities hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ imprinted on it, as well as the official branding of the 2018 World Cup. The miniature sheet is issued in two forms — without stamp perforation in the sheet (imperforate) and with perforation.

World No Tobacco Day
A special cover was released at K.G.Road on the ocassion of World No Tobacco Day on 31st May 2018.
World No Tobacco Day 2018 will focus on the impact tobacco has on the cardiovascular health of people worldwide. Tobacco use is an important risk factor for the development of coronary heart disease, stroke and peripheral vascular diseases.

Biology of Butterflies
A special cover was released to mark the 8th Conference on the Biology of Butterflies at Bengaluru on 11th June 2018.
The International Conferences on the Biology of Butterflies are four-yearly gatherings of scientists and butterfly enthusiasts. The conferences celebrate scientific discovery of the fascinating beauty, diversity and lives of butterflies. It is the first time this conference is organised in a biodiverse developing country.

Maxim Gorky
Russia Post issued as souvenir sheet on 28th March 2018 featuring Maxim Gorky who was an outstanding Russian and Soviet writer, novelist and theorist.
The postage stamp depicts a portrait of Alexey Gorky (1940) by Nikolai Bogdanov-Belsky found at A.M. Gorky Institute of the World Literature of the Russian Academy of Science.

Flora of Russia - Lilac.
A set of 4 stamps were releesed on 21st March 2018 by Russia Post on the Lilacs of Russia featuring Hortensia, Nadezhda (Hope), Krasavitsa Moskvy (Moscow Beauty) and Dzhambul.
Leonid Alexeyevich Kolesnikov (1893-1968) was an outstanding Soviet self-educated breeder; he created hundreds of lilac cultivars which got popular in the USSR and other countries. Lilac cultivation became his lifework. It was Leonid Kolesnikov who introduced the world to the “Russian lilac”. His lilac can be found in botanical gardens of many countries around the globe.
