Russia issued a set of 6 stamp under the  series of "City of Military Glory" on  20th April 2012. The cities are Pskov, Vyazma, Narofominsk, Tver, Kronstadt and Dmitrov.

Weapons of Victory - Armoured Vehicles.

 

 Russia released as set of 4 stamp on 16th April 2012, decepting armoured trucks in the series " Weapons of Victory". The stamps were on One and a half truck GAZ-AA (lorry), Truck ZIS-5V, GAZ-67B and GAZ-M1 ("Emka") 

150 years of Birth - P A Stolypin

On 6th April 2012, Russia post released a stamp on Pyotr Stolypin (1862-1911) - statesman, the Interior Minister and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian Empire to celebrate 150 years of Birth Celebration.

The stamp depict a portrait of PA Stolypin against the backdrop of the Palace Square in St. Petersburg, the Russian flag and the emblem of the XIX century.

R.Venkataraman

India Post released a stamp on R.Venkataraman, the 8th President of India on 18th April 2012.

Godiji Temple

India Post issued a stamp on Godiji temple to commemorate its 200th anniversary on 17th April 2012.

Godiji temple is situated in the Payadhuni area of Mumbai. Godiji is one of the 1008 names of Parshvanath, the 23rd Tirthankar of Jain religion.

To celebrate 125 years of Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow, India Post released a stamp on 12th April 2012.

Isabella Thoburn College was founded by Miss Isabella Thoburn, an American missionary with the mission of serving the women of India with quality higher education imbued with strong value orientation.

Minor Lighthouses of the Isle of Man

Harbour Lights is a set of six stamps depicting minor lighthouses around the Isle of Man which was released on 2nd April 2012.

Life at Sea - Danmark

Danmark issued to stamps on the theme “Life at sea” on 21st March 2012. The stamps shows the Air Force’s three helicopters – based in Aalborg, Skrydstrup and Roskilde ready for action at all times of the day and night, every day of the year in helping at rescue services along with the rescue boats.

Isle of Man - Titanic disaster.

The one-hundredth anniversary of the most infamous maritime disaster that shocked the world is commemorated in a set of six stamps released by Isle of Man Post Office on 2nd April 2012.

UK to issue stamps on 100th Anniversary of Titanic disaster.

Britain will launch a set of 10 stamp to mark the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster.

The mail area was one of the first places to flood after the ship struck an iceberg at 11.40 p.m. April 14, 1912. It had set sail from Southampton on its maiden voyage.

The 10 first class stamps of Royal Mail feature the story of the ill-fated cruise liner from its construction to the tragedy. The collection is also a tribute to five postal clerks - two Britons and three Americans who died when the ship sank.
