Coat of Arms of Orekhovo-Zuyevo

Russia Post issued a stamp on the Coat of Arms of Orekhovo-Zuyevo on 29th June 2017.

Orekhovo-Zuyevo is one of the largest cities in Moscow Oblast. It was founded in 1917. The red color symbolizes the Morozov Strike of 1885. It was the largest outbreak of Russian workers in the 19th century. A thin blue line repeating a white stripe outline symbolizes the Klyazma, which divides the town into Orekhovo and Zuyevo. A branch of hazelwood with two nuts symbolizes Orekhovo. The charadrius represents Zuyevo.
