Russia Post released a Souvenir sheet to celebrate the 100th Foundation
Anniversary of the Barguzinsky State Biosphere Nature on 27th October
2016. The Barguzinskiy Reserve is the first state natural reserve in Russia. It was established on 29 December 1916 (11 January 1917) to research, conserve and restore the sable.
It has been a part of UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves since 1986. It is a sign of an international recognition of its efforts in sable research and restoration, as well as in preserving natural biodiversity of the Baikal Region. The Reserve territory was wholly included into the Lake Baikal UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.
On the occasion of the World Heritage day on 18th April 2017 , 3 Special covers were released at Bangalore GPO.
Sri Arun Raj, Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India released the covers on 18.04.2017 at Bengaluru GPO. Dr. Charles Lobo, Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Circle and Sri S. Rajendra Kumar, Postmaster General, South Karnataka Region were also present.

Keerthinaravana Temple of Talakad Talakadu is a desert like town on the left bank of the Kaveri River in Mysuru District. It once had over 30 temples, most of which now lay buried in sand. It is one of the Pancha Narayana Kshetras where the Keerthi Narayana temple was established in 1117 AD.

Halebeedu Hovsaleshwara Temple Halebeedu (earlier Dwarasamudra) was the capital of Hoysala empire in the 1th Century AD. The Hoysaleshwara temple built in 1117 AD is outstanding for its wealth of sculptural details. The walls of the temple are covered with a variety of depictions from Hindu mythology, animals and birds. No two sculptures of the temple are same.

Chennakeshava Temple, Belur The main attraction in Belur is the Chennakeshava Temple, built by King Vishnuvardhana in commemoration of his victory over the Cholas at Talakad in 1117 AD, 900 years back.
A special cover was released in Bengaluru on the occasion of World health Day on 7th April 2017. World Health Day is celebrated each year on 7th April by World Health Organization (WHO) to raise awareness on different health issues. The theme of the world health Day 2017 is 'Depression: Let's talk'
Russia Post released a stamp on Federal Customs Service of Russia on 25th October 2016 which features the building and logo of the Russian FCS.
Central Federal Customs Authority of the Russian Federation carrying out customs controls, implementing measures of tariff and non-tariff regulation. Activities of the Federal Customs Service are also including detecting and suppression of the illegal traffic of weapons, drugs, ammunition and explosive items, and rare species of flora and fauna.
Russia Post released as set of 2 stamp to celebrate 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Way to victory on 11th October 2016. The stamps are on The Yelnya Offensive and the The Battle of Hanko.
A special cover was released on on 25th February 2017 on the occasion of Cardicon 2017 which was held at Lucknow on 25th and 26th February at Department of Cardiology, King George's Medical University, Lucknow to celebrate it's 40th anniversary.
Russia Post released a stamp on 10th November 2016 to celebrate the 100th Birthday Anniversary of Dzhemaldin Khamurzayevich Yandiyev (1916-1979) who was a People’s Poet of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR, a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR.
A special cover was released on 50 years of Indian Forest service at Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 9th February 2017. The cancellation depicts the Dugong the Sea Cow, which is the state animal of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

2 special covers were released on occasion of Solapex 2017 District level Exhibition held at Solapur on 3rd and 4th February 2017. The covers were on 100 years of Harbhai Devkaran Prashala and Former Solapur Municipal President Seth Lokaranji Jagannath Chandak.
Russia Post released a stamp to commemorate 200 years of birth of Metropolitan Macarius (1816-1882) on 7th October 2016. Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomna Macarius (Bulgakov) is an outstanding Russian thinker and public figure.
The stamp features the portrait of Metropolitan Macarius and in the background of the Moscow Kremlin Assumption of the Cathedral and the Church of the prophet Elijah (Exaltation) in Moscow.
Russia Post issued a stamp featuring the Coat of arms of the Murmansk, the monument "Waiting" on the background of panorama of the port and the Aurora to celebrate The 100th Foundation Anniversary of Murmansk City on 4th October 2016.
Murmansk is a Russian port, which is located on the Eastern coast of the Kola Bay of the Barents sea, it is the largest city in the world located above the Arctic circle. The main industry are fishing and fish processing. Ship repairing, metal processing, geological exploration of mineral resources are also developed.
Harpex 2017 State level exhibition was held at Ambala, Haryana from 3rd to 6th February 2017. 4 special covers were released on 4 days of the Exhibition. The covers were on Jyotisar - Birthplace of Gita, The Postal and RMS Employee's Co-op Bank Ltd., Ambala, Ambala G.P.O and on Tikkar Tal - Morni Hills.
Bilaspex - 2017 District level exhibition was held at Bilaspur from 28th to 30th January 2017. Three special covers were released during the same. Special cover on Fabric of Chhattisgarh on 28th, Kotisonar, Crocodile park on 29th and a cover on Universal cleanliness was released on 30th January 2017.
A set of 2 special cover was released on the occasion of Bastarpex - 2017 held from 7th January to 8th January 2017 at Jagadalpur. Special cover of Bhadrakali Sangam was released on 7th January and of Maria dance on 8th January.
A souvenir sheet was issued on Abramtsevo State Historical, Artistic and Literary Museum-Reserve on 25th October 2016 which bears the portraits of Sergei Aksakov and Savva Mamontov and in the margins the main manor of the Abramtsevo Museum Reserve.
The Abramtsevo Museum Reserve is located 60 km from Moscow, not far from Sergiyev Posad. The museum complex comprises architectural monuments of the 18th and the 19th centuries (6 of them are monuments of federal importance), a park and a scenic surrounding area of the Vorya River, where outstanding Russian artists created their works of art. The museum collection contains more than 25,000 objects — paintings, drawings, ceramics, photos, sculptures and others.
In 1843, Sergey Aksakov (1791–1859), a writer, civil servant and public person, book and theater critic, as well as an author of memoirs and books about fishing and hunting, bought Abramtsevo.
Savva Mamontov (1841-1918), a railway mogul, philanthropist and founder of the first private opera in Russia, purchased Abramtsevo in 1870. During this time, Vasily Polenov, Viktor Vasnetsov, Ilya Repin, Ilya Ostroukhov, Valentin Serov, Konstantin Korovin, Mikhail Nesterov, Mikhail Vrubel and other artists, musicians and actors lived and worked in the estate.
